Hailing from Québec City, Me Audrey Elizabeth Picard studied at the University of Ottawa. She quickly oriented her studies towards criminal law, her passion from a very early age. She won a grant from the University of Ottawa for her remarkable interest in criminal law. In addition to serving as its editor-in-chief, Me Picard wrote a criminal law column for the faculty journal for two years.

Me Picard’s university career ended with her participation in the Sopinka Cup and her nomination as a laureate for the intellectual property prize awarded by the Canadian section of the Association littéraire et artistique internationale.
